CHARRED FOOD IS BURNED FOOD AND EVERY BITE IS FULL OF CANCER CAUSING FREE RADICALS

The following blog was posted on April 8, 2018. Two months later in its June 4, 2018 issue, TIME magazine ran a piece titled “Four Healthier Ways to Grill” for the summer. The article states, “Cooking most meat at temperatures above 300F can produce potentially cancer-causing chemicals called heterocyclic amines (HCAs)…. In addition to being carcinogenic, some of the toxins produced by grilling meat may also increase your risk of developing Type 2 diabetes…. They do so by interfering with processes that regulate inflammation and insulin sensitivity…. Research has linked high-heat cooking to an increased risk of [these diseases]. To limit your exposure (to HCAs), avoid cooking meats until charred or very well done.” (p. 70)

Agreement is the glue that holds together our reality. If you don’t believe me, just think about this: Let’s say you are at a really cool party, dressed to the nines, drinking your fancy sex-on-the-beach cocktail, munching on fancy bruschetta crostini appetizers, when suddenly a naked man streaks through the room. The first thing you would do is turn to the person nearest you and blurt in a raised voice, “Did you see that naked man?”

If the people in the room all said they didn’t know what you were talking about and started to look at you strangely, like maybe there was something wrong with you, you would doubt your own perception. Only after you obtained a substantial amount of agreement from others would you believe your own eyes.

There have been countless scientific experiments on this aspect of needing the agreement of others before we can believe anything for sure. And the more people who will agree with you, the stronger is your own belief. This happens everywhere, from entertainment to politics to the newest food craze, like burning food and calling it charred, something to be sought after and not shunned.

Marketers depend on the power of agreement, our need to always be part of a consensus. They work hard to reach a tipping point where enough people agree on their product so as to cause the rest of us to rush in and partake. Because after all, if so many people think something is good then it must be good, right?

Agreement is why we are so happy nowadays when a restaurant kitchen sends us burned food. Ah, we feel so cutting edge as we eat the latest advancement in culinary arts. But not too long ago, those plates of not-to-be-eaten char would have been sent back to the kitchen accompanied by much indignation that such was put before you, that you had been so disrespected.

If you left a cut avocado on a counter and noticed days later that it was gnarly black and rotted, would you clap your hands with delight and dig in? No, of course not. You would throw it in the trash, because it was not fit to eat. The same is true for charred food. I’m not talking about “blackened” food where black pepper and herbs are used to simulate a char. I’m talking about burned food. Food that has been cooked too long past its optimal point.

I visited New York City a while ago, all aflutter to have a slice of bona fide New York pizza like I enjoyed regularly while in college. I couldn’t find it anywhere in the mom and pop stores like before. Instead, everywhere I went I was served pizza with a black burned crust and black edges.

In fact, the closest I have come to New York pizza in years was in Las Vegas in a place that rightfully calls itself New York Pizza. (For anyone visiting the Strip who is hankering for a slice of genuine New York Style pizza, take Sahara west, away from the Strip, and make a right turn on Torrey Pines Drive. It’s down about five minutes on the left, in a tiny strip mall across from the Walmart.)

You could teach a chimpanzee to recognize that food is done when it turns black. But it takes finesse and training to be able to get a good sear on a steak or a nicely browned pizza crust just right and know when to remove it from the heat, before it is burned black.

Any kitchen neophyte knows a food is done once it turns black around the edges. Black is not a color you want on your cooked food. It’s a thin line between dark sear and burned food, but if you’ve graduated from a culinary school, or work in a professional kitchen, the least we can expect of your talent and training is that you be able to tell the difference. That food is being burned on purpose as a new culinary technique is unconscionable.

Free radicals are produced constantly in your body by the most innocent of acts. Cells are damaged and free radicals created (a) naturally, as a result of metabolism, but also from (b) irritation, like that from a tight bracelet that leaves the skin red and tender, (c) injury, like banging your shin as you get out of your car, causing a bruise, (d) infection, anywhere in the body, (e) toxins, like air pollution and radiation that bombard first responders, (f) poor diet, insufficient in antioxidants to control and neutralize free radicals, (g) other stressors specific to an individual, and of course, (h) eating burned food.

Free radicals are the cause of all inflammatory diseases, including cancer. If the word “inflammation” is used to describe any disorder, then you know it is caused by an excess of free radicals. The mere act of living causes free radicals, so it is not smart to add to the load with which you already have to deal.

If a cell is damaged so as to cause the married electrons inside to migrate outside the cell, they immediately become single electrons. Single electron is another name for free radical. The first thing a single electron does is attack the nearest healthy cell in an attempt to obtain another electron and return itself to healthy status. All it does is damage that cell and create two more single electrons, aka, free radicals.

This is the process, the exponential growth of free radicals, that leads to oxidation, inflammation, and finally cancer and all other inflammatory diseases. The last thing that you want to do is eat burned food and add to that load. Do yourself a favor, send that plate of burned food back to the kitchen with plenty of indignation. CHERYL IS CANCER AND TUMOR FREE 

Cheryl is still trying to recover from the medical mistake of receiving MRI dye despite her 18 years of kidney malfunction.

But the good news is that she recovered enough to go in for an x-ray. Her benign tumor is gone, completely disappeared. She has been cancer free since May 22, when she received the results of the MRI scan. Now the tumor too is gone. The tumor took longer to eliminate than simple cancerous tissue, because it had greater mass.

That means Cheryl defeated cancer and eliminated a tumor by using only natural food supplements for the cancer, including beta carotene, vitamin D3, and lecithin. After the reaction to the dye, I added L-Cysteine and vitamin C to assist in the detoxification.

CHERYL IS SUFFERING FROM A SERIOUS SIDE EFFECT OF THE MRI DYE

I started to worry when Cheryl missed her second weekly check-in. I couldn’t get a response to voice mails and texts. Her computer was glitching so I didn’t bother with email. After almost three weeks out of contact she finally picked up the phone one morning, only to tell me in a hushed tone that she couldn’t talk because she was in the hospital.

Three days later I got a voice mail from her telling me she had been too sick to even have a conversation. That they didn’t know what was wrong with her. That she had been tested for several diseases, including non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, which were all negative.

What? Didn’t I just cure her of cancer?  

GADOLINIUM CONTRAST MEDIUM IS THE DYE USED IN CHERYL’S MRI

Gadolinium Contrast Medium (GCM), (aka, MRI Contrast Medium), is used in a third of MRI’s, and was injected intravenously as part of the scan. In magnetic resonance imaging, GCM makes the scan clearer and easier to read. It makes it easier to see soft tissue abnormalities, disease processes such as inflammation, or a tumor.

Using GCM is akin to taking a photo and then photoshopping it to sharpen the focus. GCM is how you photoshop an MRI scan. The dye can easily be seen traveling through the bloodstream, and blood goes everywhere inside your body.

GCM has a carrier molecule called a “chelating agent.” It helps to ensure that GCM is distributed equally throughout the body. Equal and balanced distribution is important in order to overcome GCM’s known toxicity, while still maintaining important contrast properties. One of the worst things that can happen is to have GCM clump up in spots and not remain equally distributed.

Under ordinary circumstances GCM is almost entirely expelled through the urine within 24 hours. The problem is some people have trouble getting GCM out of their system once the MRI is over. That is what Cheryl is facing now.

GCM SIDE EFFECTS ARE RARE BUT DO HAPPEN

  • The minor side effects from GCM are headache, nausea, and dizziness. They occur in only 5% of patients. Even more infrequently, a feeling of coldness may occur at the injection site for a short period.
  • More serious allergic side effects are experienced by about 1 in 10,000, and include difficulty breathing and swelling of the lips and mouth. These reactions occur immediately, usually while still in the MRI department, and typically respond well to emergency drug treatment.
  • Also serious is when the body cannot excrete the dye in a timely fashion. It usually settles in the lower extremities causing an inflammatory reaction and grave water retention.
  • A small fraction of people contract a serious and sometimes life threatening disease reaction called Nephrogenic Systemic Fibrosis (NSF). NSF manifests as localized thickening and tightening of the skin. It can lead to internal organ damage, because the same thing can happen to connective tissue. NSF only occurs in people with impaired kidney function. That is why anyone with kidney problems is not supposed to be given GCM.

CHERYL’S SIDE EFFECTS

It is too soon to tell if Cheryl has NSF specifically, but she does have a nasty set of GCM side effects. She also has serious kidney impairment.

Cheryl has had renal colic for almost five years, ever since her kidneys were injured in a serious auto accident. There is ample information in Cheryl’s medical records regarding this accident, including MRIs, ultra sounds, and other tests.

Ordinarily renal colic is a type of pain due to the presence of kidney stones. Cheryl does not have kidney stones, but she has severe pain that comes in waves, and clearly she has kidney impairment. Nevertheless, Cheryl was given GCM, which is not supposed to be given to anyone with kidney impairment.

Her doctors never discussed the use of GCM with Cheryl. She was given tests for kidney and liver function prior to the MRI, and they indicated no problems. But there was never a conversation about its use and the danger it presented to her. If they had bothered to read her medical records carefully or discuss it with her she could have avoided all of this misery.

Cheryl is in real distress right now and has several excruciating problems due to the side effects of the GCM dye:

  • There is substantial swelling in both legs and feet that make it difficult to stand and walk. Sitting on the front left ankle and right hip are water sacs the size of large grapefruits. Both are tender and painful. When touched it is obvious they are filled with liquid.
  • There is a sensation of extreme cold that extends from her left hip all the way down past the affected ankle sac. It is also present in her right foot. These areas feel normal when touched, but to Cheryl they are painfully cold.
  • There are dark lines about a quarter inch thick encircling both ankles. Her skin color above the line is her normal white color, but it is a darker grey color below the line. Cheryl feels very sick, nauseated and achy like with the flu. She had to quit one job because she is exhausted all the time.
  • There is a serious problem with her mouth. Her teeth and gums are sore and painful, making it hard to chew. She has a bad, metallic taste in her mouth that ruins the taste of whatever she eats. She rinses with salt water every couple of hours, trying to get rid of the taste.

CHERYL’S PROGNOSIS

Her doctors say they have no idea what is wrong with Cheryl, or how to fix it. Yet they also say this reaction occurs from time to time with the use of GCM. So which is it? And why the mystery? If the doctors have seen this reaction with the dye before, why are they giving her all sorts of tests to find out what is wrong? Why are they not attributing it to the dye?

This is the same irrational logic of Cheryl’s oncologist. He witnessed the elimination of the cancerous tissue and the benign tumor shrinking, but still wanted to cut into her to get at what was left of the tumor. Why not wait and see if the tumor continues to disappear on its own? It is shrinking after all. And it’s benign, so why the rush to cut?

For now her medical team continues to test for any number of diseases, whether or not it is possible for Cheryl to have contracted them. They simply don’t know what else to do. I am worried that they may do more harm before they are finished.

I ask myself why practitioners in the medical industry don’t react well to new information and try to utilize it to get a better outcome for their patients. Why aren’t they more curious? When the oncologists saw that whatever Cheryl was using had caused the cancer to disappear and the benign tumor to shrink, why weren’t they more excited? Where was the passion? Why didn’t they question her and try to find out more so they could learn and help others?

It’s seems like medical school deprives them of the ability to seek out new truths, and think new thoughts. It shuts down the creative process so that they never question what they have been told and never seek further clarity.

Making it all worse is their certainty that they are always right, to the point of arrogance, which is not supported by reality because they are wrong more often than they are right. They have failed miserably in carrying out their Hippocratic oath to first do no harm. Cheryl is one more small example in a sea of mistakes.

All Cheryl’s doctors had to do was talk to her about the MRI and the use of GCM. They would have discovered she had the accident that damaged her kidneys and would not have used GCM. In that case Cheryl would be celebrating her recent win over cancer, and getting on with her new life, instead of having to face all this additional and unnecessary misfortune.

CHERYL’S NEXT STEP

Cheryl was scheduled for an x-ray of the benign tumor on June 27, 2016 to see if it continues to shrink. The appointment was canceled because she was too ill.

I have added L-Cysteine and Vitamin C to her regimen to assist her body in detoxifying, and bee pollen and honey to calm her allergic reactions.

REFLECTIONS ON A UNIVERSAL CANCER CURE 

There is an aspect to the natural cure that did not occur to me before now. That is the profound loss of privacy faced by cancer patients.

The invasion happens literally and figuratively. Literally, because they actually invade your bodily privacy. Figuratively, because a conventional cancer patient can’t keep the news to themselves. Getting over cancer is not something you can do alone if you use conventional means.

Even if you try to keep it secret the physical toll prevents that. We’re all familiar with the bald eyebrows, bandana wrapped head, weight loss, and haggard look that signal cancer treatment. Word gets around and then comes the sympathy, and more than a little pity. People don’t like being pitied.

Along with other unhappy features of conventional cancer treatment, Cheryl avoided any intrusions to her privacy by using natural means. Outside of her medical team only I, and a nurse friend, know that she had cancer. (I love using the past tense to refer to Cheryl’s cancer.)

Cheryl continued to work during my treatment for her breast cancer. Two, sometimes three, jobs, even during the first three weeks, which were the hardest. Long hours on her feet bartending and doing hair, shuttling a friend’s kids to school. She is single and did her own shopping, cooking, laundry, and housekeeping. She went to church and brunch on Sundays, and played mahjongg with the girls on Tuesday nights. Since she was keeping her cancer a secret, she had to keep up her routine, and she couldn’t ask for help.

And yet, Cheryl was able to do all of that, as though everything were fine, because the natural treatment doesn’t take a toll on you. It doesn’t make you heave and hurl. Doesn’t rob you of energy and vitality. Doesn’t kill your sex life. Doesn’t cause hair trauma, bruising, or anemia. Doesn’t make you prone to systemic infection. Doesn’t cause sleep problems. Doesn’t rot your gums and cause throat distress. Doesn’t cause constipation and diarrhea, all in the same day. Doesn’t make you look and feel like something the cat dragged in.

Let’s face it. Conventional cancer treatment only adds to the sheer wretchedness of the disease itself. It adds its own set of ugly burdens on top of having cancer. It is always intrusive, sometimes fatally so.

The natural treatment does no harm and causes no discomfort. There are no side effects. And no one has to know that you have cancer unless you decide to tell them.

I’m seeing how much the ability to remain silent about her treatment actually means to Cheryl. Even more than she anticipated, I believe. I know this, because she still doesn’t want me to divulge her real name or where she lives on the blog.

Frankly, I can’t blame her for her attitude, and will honor her request. It can be freeing to be able to keep your business your business.

CHERYL’S NEXT STEP

Cheryl is still scheduled for an x-ray of the benign tumor on June 27, 2016. The MRI showed that it was significantly reduced. She will continue her high doses of beta carotene, D3, and lecithin in order to continue shrinking the tumor. I will let you know the results of that x-ray as soon as I have them.

THE TIMING OF THE NATURAL CURE

Cheryl’s cancer was gone after six weeks, but that wasn’t long enough to remove the benign tumor. It had shrunk but was still there. From what we’ve witnessed with Cheryl, apparently simple cancerous tissue can be eliminated faster than can a tumor, even a benign one. It’s probably a simple question of volume as the tumor has more mass than the diseased tissue.

Therefore, for purposes of costing out the treatment I have given 10 weeks as an outside estimate of how long it will take the average person to get over cancer. That should include even malignant tumors of a reasonable size and number.

If the cancer case is a difficult one, it will take longer. For instance, my first cancer subject, Jim, had 100 visible tumors. It took three full months for even the smallest of them to disappear, because there were so many. It was over six months before the visible ones were gone completely.

Empirical observation tells us so far that depending on the circumstances of the cancer, it can take from approximately 6 to 26 weeks to cure cancerous tissue and remove tumors naturally. Once cured, however, a simple twice daily maintenance dose will ensure that you never have cancer again.

THE COST OF THE NATURAL CURE

The cost for 10 weeks of supplements to treat cancer is approximately $650.00 per person. Add an additional $65.00 for every week that treatment continues after 10 weeks, with a presumed maximum cost for six months being $1690. This is a startling amount for access to a ground breaking, universal cancer cure.

Remember, this treatment will work on any cancer, anywhere in the body of any mammal. That is why it is “universal.”

As hard as it is to believe, cancer is a simple nutrient deficiency. If you have it that means you are not consuming enough anti-oxidants generally, and beta carotene specifically to counter and match free radical growth.

HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN. THE MRI RESULTS ARE IN AND IT’S NOTHING BUT GOOD NEWS! 

We need a better word to describe this news. Cheryl’s breast cancer is gone! Completely eliminated by beta carotene, the most powerful inflammation and cancer fighting anti-oxidant available today. Cheryl has known for weeks, just by the way she feels, that her cancer was gone.

To review: Cheryl had both cancerous tissue surrounding a blocked milk duct, and a tumor that although benign was scheduled for surgical removal along with the diseased tissue. The oncologists’ biggest concern was that the cancer would spread to the tumor, and beyond. Cheryl was warned that once surgery began she might lose the breast, if the doctor decided that her condition warranted it.

The MRI, performed on April 20, 2016, showed that as of that date Cheryl was cancer free, and the benign tumor had shrunken in size. The new oncologist who ordered the MRI told Cheryl to keep doing whatever she was doing, because it appeared to be working.

She is scheduled for another x-ray of the benign tumor on June 27, 2016. Cheryl’s oncologist is still prepared for surgery on that date. Apparently, he anticipates that whatever is reducing it might suddenly stop working. Cheryl and I anticipate that the tumor will be smaller or completely gone by then, and surgery will be unnecessary.

The timing means it took about six weeks to cure the breast cancer, from on or around March 6, when she began the really large therapeutic doses of beta carotene, to April 20, the date of the MRI, when she was pronounced cancer free.

Cheryl trusted me enough to do exactly as I said. I had helped her with other disorders during our five year friendship. She decided along the way that I knew what I was doing. She never vacillated, even when I told her she would have to take literally hundreds of supplements every day for months to be free of cancer.

Cheryl was so certain I was going to cure her cancer that when she discovered I had she wasn’t even surprised. She didn’t get excited or euphoric like you would expect after being told that. She didn’t call me as soon as she got to her car, all aflush with happiness. Cheryl simply went back to work after the appointment.

In fact, she didn’t call to tell me for four days! She found out on Thursday. I didn’t find out until our weekly phone call last Monday, when she casually mentioned it in her update. I know she’s practical and down-to-earth, but still. I did get excited and euphoric, and scolded her for not calling me right away. She was all like, “Well, you knew it was going to happen.”

Once the benign tumor is gone and Cheryl can reduce to a daily maintenance dose, I will ask her to figure out how much she spent for supplements specifically to cure the cancer and eradicate the tumor. BAILEY IS MY NEWEST CANCER PATIENT

WE ARE STILL WAITING ON THE RESULTS OF THE MRI 

I have been getting emails from people wanting to know how Cheryl is doing, since it has been three weeks since my last post. She had the MRI as scheduled on April 20, just two weeks ago as I write this. Apparently these kinds of results don’t come down fast. So we wait.

Cheryl’s condition remains the same as last reported in Blog 40. For her, life has pretty much returned to normal. She has a healthy appetite. She is regular. She has no pain in the cancer area. Her mood is exceptional. This is her busy season with weddings and spring parties. Her energy is high and she’s working 14 hour days.

Cheryl plays a large part in the parties that she works. She will sometimes cut the men’s hair, style the women’s hair, and then setup and bartend the event. She seems to have moved on with her life, past cancer, and is not looking back. She is happy and enjoying her life.

The results of the MRI will decide Cheryl’s immediate future. They will tell us that:

  1. The tumor is larger or the same size; beta carotene isn’t working; Cheryl proceeds to surgery.
  2. The tumor is smaller but still there; beta carotene is working, but Cheryl needs more time with the natural treatment; surgery is postponed to give beta carotene time to completely eliminate the tumor. 
  3. The tumor is gone; beta carotene has worked; Cheryl’s dosage is reduced to a maintenance level that she will take as long as she lives to prevent cancer’s return; surgery is canceled.

CHERYL CONTINUES TO IMPROVE ON THE NATURAL TREATMENT AND HAS SEEN A SECOND ONCOLOGIST

Cheryl went in for her second-opinion appointment on April 5th. She had never directly criticized her original oncologist to me, but I got the sense that she was not impressed with her. I hadn’t realized how dissatisfied Cheryl was, and I don’t think she did either, until she was able to compare the first doctor with the second-opinion doctor. Day and night, she says.

Cheryl says that prior to setting up her breast surgery, the first doctor spent 12 minutes with her. That she discussed no treatment options or anything relating to the cancer, touching only on the details about the day of surgery. She certainly didn’t try to comfort Cheryl in any way.

When Cheryl pressed her for more information the doctor told her blankly that she was in a high risk group and the breast had to go; that she was a surgeon and didn’t promote other methods to fight or cope with cancer. For breast cancer the standard was to remove the breast. Period.

The second doctor spent an hour and a half with Cheryl, and without being prompted explained not only all aspects of the surgery but also gave her details about her cancer. By the end of the visit, Cheryl had retained the second doctor and dismissed the first.

THE SECOND OPINION VISIT

When Cheryl sat down with the second doctor, but before he had examined her, he told her that based on her medical records she was in a high risk group and the surgery could not be postponed again. He said there was no other way for her to save her life except to have the breast removed.

Ah, but wait…then he examined Cheryl and got a little surprise. He said he couldn’t feel anything where the tumor was supposed to be, and according to the tests it was large enough to be distinguished by touch. Since his more recent physical examination conflicts with her older medical records, he has ordered an MRI before proceeding.

This whole time while the first doctor was setting Cheryl up for surgery, she never ordered an MRI. Cheryl had a suspicious mammogram, which led to a biopsy that showed cancer. The first doctor moved from that result directly to surgery as a treatment. The second doctor said biopsies are not always conclusive and no surgery should have been scheduled without an MRI. Moreover, since Cheryl is in a high risk group an MRI is something her insurance will pay for. Cheryl thinks the first doctor moved too quickly to surgery.

Now we wait to see if beta carotene has eliminated the tumor and the cancer. We are looking at three possible outcomes:

(1) The tumor is larger or the same size; beta carotene isn’t working; Cheryl proceeds to surgery.

(2) The tumor is smaller but still there; beta carotene is working; Cheryl continues with the natural treatment; surgery is postponed until further tests can be conducted.

(3) The tumor is gone; beta carotene is working; Cheryl continues with the natural treatment; surgery is canceled.

PERSONAL OBSERVATIONS FROM CHERYL 

Mood 

Cheryl was a little nervous at the start of the week due to the looming second opinion. She so wants the cancer to be gone and this whole ordeal to be over. But she is in good spirits overall, and her strength continues to grow.

Pain

None. 

Regularity 

Cheryl continues to be regular. She moves her bowels twice a day now and there is less product. This would indicate that her body has removed most of the necrotic waste product.

Appetite

Her appetite has pretty much returned to normal, and she can eat what she pleases. Of course, she makes sure to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables high in anti-oxidants in order to support the efforts of the beta carotene.

Dose Levels

Cheryl continues to take 250 count, of the 25,000 IU strength softgels in a dose of 125 softgels twice daily. Her Vitamin D3 level remains the same. She continued to have occasional stomach distress at the higher lecithin levels of 6 softgels twice daily. For that reason, I have moved her back to 4 softgels twice daily. She says that the distress was not bad enough that she couldn’t continue at the higher level, but I make it a point not to ignore the body’s call for help via its presentation of symptoms.

Why Beta Carotene Cures Any Cancer 

We have learned that free radicals are created whenever a cell is damaged, by any number of reasons, and the electrons escape the outer shell of the cell. As soon as these unpaired electrons escape the shell they become free radicals. Seeking a partner electron, they attack the nearest healthy cell, only to create more free radicals, because a free radical cannot pair up with another free radical to become healthy again.

“A free radical is an atom that has an unpaired electron and is therefore unstable and highly reactive.” This process works so fast that free radical growth can exceed millions per second.

Think of it this way: When you consume beta carotene, and other anti-oxidants, their cells roam through your system searching for free radicals. After the pairing between a free radical and an anti-oxidant electron, the free radical is returned to normalcy.

What is happening is that, unlike human electrons, when beta carotene electrons escape their cell, they do not turn into free radicals. Instead, they remain stable as a single electron. CHERYL HAS SIX WEEKS TO CURE HER CANCER WITH ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE OR FACE BREAST REMOVAL SURGERY IF IT DOESN’T WORK 

Cheryl’s surgery is already scheduled for mid April 2016. She booked it as far out as was safe, to give my health supplement treatment as much time as possible to work. She has a great fear of going under the knife and coming out with fewer parts than she went in with. Or maybe not coming out at all. It happens.

Her name isn’t really Cheryl. She is a real person, and everything else written here about her is true. I promise anyone who comes to me for help, especially with cancer, that they can go through the treatment anonymously. Cheryl does not want her family, friends, or church to know. She believes that sharing it would make everything harder on her. She doesn’t like a lot of fuss. She will tell them when it’s over. I have agreed to honor her wish.

Cheryl is 5’2.” In her 60s. Blue-eyed and buxomy with blond hair to her waist. She’s smart, independent, quick witted, and practical. She gives a lot of sass and likes to flirt. She is rock solid dependable with a strong work ethic. She likes to play by the rules and wants others to do the same. When she smiles her eyes twinkle.

Cheryl drives a red 1969 Mustang. She speeds so often in her convertible that the police in her small town have taken to mailing her the speeding ticket rather than chasing her down, which she seems to enjoy a bit too much for their tastes.

Cheryl has no children but she loves babies and often helps new mothers in town without being asked. Besides bartending she supports herself by operating a home beauty salon. Apparently, women really do tell their hairdressers everything, because if you want to know anything about anybody in town, just ask Cheryl.

I have known Cheryl for five years, since the recession washed me out financially. Some friends in her town offered me their house while they were gone, to try to help me get back on my feet.

I didn’t have to worry about rent for a while, but essentially I was broke and homeless. I took a job as a server at a local country club, hoping to stir up some cash flow. Cheryl was bar manager. I had never worked in a restaurant or bar. Since I had eaten out a million times in my life, I figured I could fake it.

I was wrong.

My first hour I let an $80 cash tab walk out the door. The guy winked at me as he left. I smiled back, and told him to come again, thinking it was my great service. Later, I gave a burger plate to a vegetarian member, and ice-cream to someone who had ordered breakfast. Things got worse after that.

Unshed tears were burning my eyes when at the end of my shift-from-hell the manager said he needed to talk to me in his office. He wasn’t going to fire me, he said, because I worked hard and everyone seemed to like me. But I lacked a sense of “urgency” and for that he didn’t think I would make it.

Cheryl was waiting outside the door when I came out. She patted my back and promised that things would get better. They didn’t. The next day was even worse and involved a lot of broken china. I could see the manager rethinking his decision to keep me on.

But suddenly, every time I was about to make a mistake Cheryl would appear out of nowhere, at my elbow, to stop me. She took responsibility for me, to make sure I succeeded. With her help I stayed on long enough to get promoted four times and get a nice apology from the manager.

THE CANCER

Most people who interact with me personally end up using supplements for their ails. I don’t try, I swear, but it always seems to work out that way. It was no different with Cheryl. So when she called to tell me she had cancer, she had already put herself on a good regimen for defeating it, based on what I’d already told her about inflammation.

Cheryl has had a couple of biopsies, as her doctor wanted to monitor the cancer’s progress. Among other vitamins, she has been taking 100 Beta Carotene softgels each morning with breakfast. The high dose of Beta Carotene helped explain her pathologist’s comment after her most recent biopsy.

He said, “You know what? I am no longer impressed with your tumor, Cheryl.” He must have seen the look of puzzlement on her face, because he went on to say that it wasn’t a “healthy” tumor anymore. Unlike the earlier biopsies, this flesh had fallen apart, lost its structure, while he was trying to study it.

Cheryl and I attribute this tumor destabilization and loss of integrity to the Beta Carotene that she is taking. But 100 a day are not enough to defeat cancer, only slow it down. Cheryl’s dose is higher than that now.

Cheryl had cancer about 20 years ago. At that time, she used large doses of blue green algae, a potent source of anti-oxidants, to cure it. This knowledge of how well anti-oxidants worked, coupled with the pathologist’s comment now, only strengthened Cheryl’s resolve to try the natural way first. Everything else I have told her about wellness turned out to be true. So, with chin up and fingers crossed she’s going forward.

THE FACTORY ANALOGY

In my wellness writing, I often compare the human body to a manufacturing plant, a factory. The factory could not sustain itself if the right supplies didn’t come in the front door. It would also have to close if it were unable to break down those supplies and format them for proper use. And if they couldn’t get rid of the production waste, the plant would be overcome with filth and vermin, and again, could not function. You can see that a failure anywhere along this three-part process would mean a failure of the factory itself.

It is the same with the human body. To be successful, healthy, the right supplies have to come in through intake, be formatted for use in processing, and their wastes eliminated through disposal. Without Step: 3, proper elimination, there will be sicknesses like Crohn’s due to excess toxicity, which circumstance leads to inflammation. Like the poor factory, the body will fail.

THE FOOD TRIP

Food enters your mouth where chewing and saliva begin the digestive process. The masticated food is shunted via the esophagus to the stomach, where the real digestive work begins. Stomach acids break down the food until it is a thick liquid called chyme. (Pronounced kime, like dime.) Digestion continues in the small intestine, where the chyme is further processed and most of the nutrients extracted and absorbed.

By the time food matter gets to the end of the small intestine, there is little of value left in it except water, which is extracted as the matter moves through the colon to the anus. Constipation occurs if too much water is extracted from the colon at this point, and diarrhea if not enough is. Crohn’s can affect any part of the Gastrointestinal Tract, but most often affects the colon itself, as well as, the end of the small intestine where it connects to the colon, called the ileum.

Definition: Gastrointestinal Tract: The GI tract is a series of hollow organs joined together in one long, twisting tube that extends from the mouth to the anus. The movement of muscles all along the GI tract, along with the release of hormones and enzymes at appropriate times and places, allows for digestion of food.

The beginning of the digestive system, the mouth, while not the cleanest part of your body, is fresher than the end, the colon, where final expulsion of waste occurs. The colon has the hazardous duty of being the last stop on the trip that food takes through your body, handling it when it is no longer actually food, but bacterial-infested feces, waste for which your body has absolutely no use and must get rid of in order to remain well.

UNDERSTANDING CROHN’S DISEASE

Crohn’s belongs to a group of disorders known as Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), and presents as open sores and ulcers usually in the lower GI tract. Because of its role in digestion, the soft tissue in your colon and ileum is more or less in continual contact with rotting fecal matter. Crohn’s starts with a failure to completely evacuate this matter over and over, to the point where old feces and colonizing bacteria coat the soft tissue, creating a film of dangerous wastes that never goes away.

When your body cannot timely expel feces, they are held too long and harden over time, while they sit inert inside your lower bowel. This state leads to a sustained microbial-induced inflammatory response in the colon, because the bacterial load is too high for your digestive system to handle. The end result is a toxic, bacterial-laden environment that overwhelms the body and leads to infection, free radicals, chronic inflammation, and Crohn’s.

Crohn’s is considered the most serious IBD and is associated across gender, age, and cultures with an increased intake of animal and milk proteins. Those who eat more fresh vegetables have a lower incidence, which I attribute to both the antioxidants in vegetables, as well as the additional water. This makes sense because it is harder to digest animal protein, and the process takes longer. Meat moves through you like the tortoise, vegetables like the hare. A meat dominant diet can lead to constipation due to the lack of water left in the feces as it tries to exit the colon. Vegetables hold more water during their trip through the colon and therefore can make an easier and quicker exit. The faster you can evacuate feces the lower are your chances of getting Crohn’s, or cancer in that area.

Ideally, you will evacuate often enough that at times the smell of what you ate will still be slightly detectable in your stool. If you had lasagna the night before, you should be able to smell that over the usual odor the next morning. You should move your bowels two or more times a day for good health. Even once a day is not enough, and signals mild constipation. Native tribes living on a largely raw diet will evacuate their bowels up to five times a day—not diarrhea, just normal bowel movements. You can bet they don’t get Crohn’s Disease, because their wastes move quickly through and out. If you’re only moving your bowels a couple of times a week, you’re in big trouble.

If you have Crohn’s your diet doesn’t include enough antioxidants, in food and supplement form, to destroy the free radicals causing oxidation and inflammation in the GI tract. You also don’t get enough enzyme-containing raw foods on a daily basis to ensure complete processing of food in the stomach, assimilation of nutrients in the small intestine, and final elimination of all waste from the colon. Often this is because the foods those with Crohn’s need for good health cause the most discomfort when eaten, so they shy away from them to their detriment. That’s why avoidance of Crohn’s is the best policy.

While scrounging for an explanation of what causes Crohn’s, many in the medical industry have locked on to the idea that it is an auto-immune disorder. I disagree. I’m not saying that after years of having old decayed feces buried in the colon that the immune system wouldn’t be compromised into attacking due to the high bacterial load. I’m saying that the immune system does not cause Crohn’s. It’s role is merely a reaction to the overwhelming influx of colonizing fecal bacteria into the lower GI tract.

Other doctors will tell you that the exact cause of Crohn’s remains unknown. But that’s not true either. They give you all the information you need to proceed when they define it as an inflammation, which is Category: 2 in my Seven Categories of Illness paradigm. It is also Category 6: Excess Toxicity, which is rarely mentioned in any discussion of Crohn’s, but whose role is important in understanding and treatment.

Once again, Crohn’s is actually caused by rampant chronic inflammation brought on by the continued presence of high bacterial fecal wastes rubbing against ulcer ridden soft tissue. Of course there’s going to be bacterial driven infection, free radicals and inflammation, which set the stage for Crohn’s.

Comparison: Bacteria versus Free Radicals: I use these terms seemingly interchangeably but there is a difference, and they both contribute to Crohn’s.   Bacteria: They are microscopic organisms, usually one-celled, that can be found everywhere, especially in feces. They can be dangerous, such as when they cause infections like anthrax and syphilis, or beneficial as when they assist in things like wine fermentation and cheese making. Bacteria are alive, consume matter, move around, expel waste, and multiply their numbers.  

Think about where mouth plaque and tartar come from on your teeth. They are the little dead bodies and wastes pooped out by colonizing bacteria. Overnight bacterial growth is the reason for morning breath, which is why you should try to brush your teeth before you eat breakfast, to avoid introducing toxic mouth bacteria back into your system. Bacterial growth and infections also lead to the creation of free radicals

Free Radicals: They are single electrons separated by an injury from their “home” cells. Free radicals are created in numerous ways, including breathing second-hand smoke, getting a punch in the arm, eating a sandwich, and contracting a bacterial infection, to name a few. Each cell in your body has two electrons. As long as both electrons remain within the closed cell, it will be healthy and disease free. When a cell is damaged, each electron involved in the injury will split from the cell and immediately becomes a free radical—a single electron.  

The first thing a newly created free radical does is attack and damage nearby healthy cells to create even more free radicals. In turn, those free radicals attack more healthy cells and create more free radicals. This process continues unabated without antioxidant intervention. Free radicals actually destroy tissue and bone and cause nothing but harm inside the body.

THE PROCESS OF INFLAMMATION

When free radical growth reaches a certain threshold, which varies with each individual, you have oxidation in tissue and bone, a form of decay and death. Think of a peach left on the counter while you were on vacation. The rot is the work of oxidation, which is simply free radical overload. Without antioxidants to stop it the decay continues to spread, with toxic dead tissue coming in contact with healthy tissue only to make it sick as well. The end result of this process is inflammation, which is a precursor to Crohn’s, cancer, and other inflammatory disorders.

 THE PROGRESSION OF INFLAMMATION IN CROHN’S

Once bacteria attack the body and create a condition, the damage done to cells creates free radicals and the process toward inflammation begins:

Buildup of Old Feces  →  High Bacterial Load  →  Free Radicals  →  Oxidation  →  Inflammation  →  Crohn’s Disease

CROHN’S SYMPTOMS

There are a number of unpleasant symptoms associated with moderate to severe Crohn’s. Understanding them teaches us more about the disorder.

Persistent Diarrhea: The cells in the area secrete extra water to cool the heat from the inflammation, but if the colon can’t absorb the extra fluids this process results in diarrhea. What makes it worse is that persistent diarrhea leads to weight loss and malnutrition from loss of nutrients. Anemia is also common with Crohn’s.

Persistent Constipation: How cruel a disease that can give you both diarrhea and constipation, which is just as likely to happen with Crohn’s due to fistula, strictures, and improper digestion along the GI tract.

Fistula: Sometimes an open ulcer can get so inflamed with oxidation that it will eat all the way through an intestinal wall, creating an abnormal connection between it and other body parts, like your skin, bladder, or vagina. Think of it as an inflamed tunnel that leads to these parts. When fistula develop, food can bypass areas of the bowel completely, meaning that partially digested food, along with harsh digestive acids, bacteria, and free radicals, are leaking directly into the abdomen, further spreading inflammation.

Stricture: Inflamed and ulcerated sores sometimes heal and leave scar tissue behind. Inflammation will flare again, heal over again, and leave more scar tissue. Over time this scar tissue narrows the digestive channels, making it difficult for food matter to move through them, and equally difficult to move your bowels. These narrowed passageways are called strictures. They cause a lot of pain and can also cause an actual bowel obstruction, necessitating surgery to clear out the wastes. They have to go up there and dig it out.

Blood In The Stool: Even though you may have open sores in your GI tract, you still have to utilize those areas one or more times a day. Say you go to a summer barbeque, down some grilled salmon, a couple skewers of Cajun shrimp, and two hotdogs. During digestion, that food rubs against the inflamed open sores in the GI Tract. This painful contact causes the ulcers to bleed and the blood shows up in your stool.

Fissure: Inflammation sometimes results in an actual tear in the anus. It is very painful, especially during bowel movements, as the feces grates across the ulcerated cleft, feeling like salt on an open cut. It can lead to rectal bleeding from the tear itself, and from the strain to evacuate.

Increased Risk of Cancer In The Lower GI Tract: It has already been established that Crohn’s is a chronic inflammation, usually occurring in the colon and the ileum. With ulcerated sores continually coming into contact with toxic fecal matter, free radical growth and inflammation become exponential. All inflammation is caused by free radicals, and inflammation is the last step before disorders like Crohn’s or cancer begin. Therefore, if you have Crohn’s you have a highly increased chance of getting colon cancer. If you have a really serious case, that outcome would seem to be inevitable if other steps are not taken. Actress Farrah Fawcett died at 62, after battling three years against anal cancer that began as a fissure.

Urgent Need To Use Bathroom: This irritating symptom gives you the sensation of suddenly having to move your bowels, accompanied by a regular sensation of incomplete evacuation, meaning chronic discomfort.

Other Health Problems: Due to long term malnutrition, Crohn’s sufferers experience myriad other profoundly serious health problems, such as arthritis, eye and skin inflammations, clubbing of the fingertips, kidney stones, chronic low grade fever, fatigue, and stunted growth and physical development in children. Crohn’s can also lead to loss of normal menstrual cycle. Remember, your body was created from nutrition, and it can only grow and function properly with replacement of those same nutrients as they are lost. Crohn’s makes it difficult to take in and assimilate the nutrition you need for good health.

FIGHTING BACK WITH NUTRITION

The best approach to Crohn’s is to prevent it in the first place. If you clean out the fecal wastes regularly you will stop inflammation from developing. All the symptoms associated with Crohn’s have inflammation as the core problem. Inflammation based on excess toxicity. Because you can’t get enough antioxidants in your food to be free of disorders like Crohn’s, you need the additional nutritional protection of antioxidants in supplement form. Specifically, Beta Carotene and D3 will heal the open sores, while the other supplements will keep you regular and your colon cleaned out.

Beta Carotene is the best Antioxidant to stop bacterial overload that leads to free radicals, and therefore oxidation and inflammation. (See Blog 3: The Dangers of Inflammation to learn more.) If you do not get relief with the recommended minimum of 25 softgels (25,000 IU strength) taken twice daily, feel free to increase the dosage to the level necessary to control the disorder. This is only nutrition and will not hurt you. Let me say that again: Beta Carotene will not hurt you. It is perhaps the kindest gift the universe has ever given mammals.

Whatever dosage works to control your inflammation is your specific daily maintenance dose of Beta Carotene, no matter how high it is. On most days I take from 100 to 200 softgels depending on my inflammation load, because that’s what it takes to be pain free. I will not accept less than zero tolerance when it comes to pain and sickness, so I don’t care how many softgels it takes as long as it works. I get enough mail to know that I should add here that 100 to 200 softgels is not a typo, and no I don’t mean milligrams or IUs. I mean softgels.

My usual maintenance dose of Beta Carotene is 100 softgels daily—50 with breakfast, and 50 with dinner. I do this and then thumb my nose at cancer, which no longer scares me. There is no chance I can get cancer while taking these high daily doses, because I’m controlling free radical growth that leads to inflammation and cancer. That also applies to the hundreds of other inflammation disorders. So, don’t worry about the number of softgels, worry about the results.

Vitamin D3 is a support vitamin for Beta Carotene. Never take Beta Carotene without also taking Vitamin D or the result will be a Vitamin D deficiency. Beta Carotene uses up Vitamin D during processing and assimilation.

Lecithin is an emulsifier and will help keep your digestive system running smoothly. It will emulsify old, hardened feces that are stuck to your soft tissue, and clean out your colon. It will prevent the buildup of new feces, making it easier to move your bowels regularly.

Calcium/Magnesium will increase the frequency of your bowel movements and soften the consistency of the feces, ensuring that you evacuate all wastes within 12 hours, or less, of having eaten. It stands to reason that there is less bacteria in feces that is only a couple of hours old, as opposed to feces that is a couple of years old. Quickly eliminating feces is vital to preventing and treating Crohn’s.

Aloe Vera Gel will sooth open raw sores in your burning digestive system. Many people keep an Aloe plant in the kitchen in case they burn themselves, because of its known healing properties. Anyone with sunburn will attest to this as well. Aloe will do the same thing inside your GI tract that it does on the outside of your body, sooth burning inflammation. If you take Aloe Vera orally on a regular basis you will notice that your bowel movements do not smell as bad.

ANTIOXIDANT FOOD SOURCES

It’s important to eat a diet high in antioxidant foods. But make no mistake. Even if you eat these foods 24/7, you cannot get enough antioxidants through food alone to protect yourself from serious inflammation that can lead to Crohn’s and cancer. You must add antioxidant supplements to be completely safe.

Almost any vegetable or fruit with deep coloring is going to contain antioxidants. In most cases, the deeper the color, the higher the antioxidant levels. Eating more of these fresh foods will increase your daily intake of antioxidants and fight infection and inflammation. Fresh is preferred, frozen is tolerated, and canned is prohibited, unless that is all you have access to.

Here is a short list of foods, but they are not in any particular order after Acai berry, which is the number one food for antioxidants.

There are other vegetables, fruits, and legumes that contain antioxidants but are not mentioned here, so don’t be afraid to experiment. And don’t forget the benefits of freshly juiced vegetables and fruits in keeping you healthy. A juicer is a great investment in good health.

You’ll notice that beans are listed as good sources of antioxidants. You get more taste and better texture when you cook dried beans from scratch. Dried beans are also more nutritious and less expensive than canned beans. They are easy to prepare, and don’t have to be soaked overnight. You just have to simmer them longer if they haven’t been soaked.

 GENERIC RECIPE FOR COOKING BEANS

Rinse a cup full of beans and throw them in a saucepot with about 3 cups of water. (You will need to add more water during cooking time.) • Add spices to taste (sea salt, black pepper, chopped garlic clove or garlic powder, and a dash or two of ground Cayenne red pepper—if you like the heat). • Also add a small chopped onion, carrot, and fresh tomato. These vegetables are meant to flavor the beans and will disappear into the mixture by the time they are cooked. • Stir from time to time and add water as needed. • Keep the top of the pot ajar during entire cooking time to permit the indigestible sugars to cook off, and avoid intestinal gas. • Cook the beans until tender and a thin sauce has formed. • Overtime you will see how easy it is to work with dried beans, and will create your own herbal combinations to flavor them.

PROTECTING YOURSELF FROM CROHN’S

One way to protect yourself from Crohn’s, besides getting more antioxidants in your diet, is to follow this simple rule: Never eat anything cooked without having something fresh/raw at the same time. This will help ensure complete evacuations. My solution is to eat fresh fruit with breakfast. This translates usually as a combination of banana, pear, berries, or cantaloupe blended with 1% milk into a thick shake. When I want eggs and toast, cereal, pancakes or waffles, I’ll simply have a small fruit garnish on the side. If I’m eating lunch, I’ll have a small side salad—sometimes this translates simply as the fresh lettuce on a tuna sandwich, but I’m still following the rule. I have a green salad every night with dinner. Sometimes a big salad with my favorite cheese is all I eat for dinner. I choose from the following fresh produce and other items to create my salads:

Romaine hearts • Arugula leaves • Chicory • Frisee • Red or white cabbage European mix • Spring mix • Bib lettuce • Spinach • Endive • Escarole • Celery • Tomatoes • Cilantro • Red onion • Persian cucumber • Raisins • Scallions • Parsley • Sprouts • Cranberries • Cauliflower florets • Carrots • Mushrooms • Radishes • Green, red, or yellow peppers • Apples • Grapes. I also sometimes add cottage, cheddar, Swiss or fontina cheese. Other times I opt to choose from toasted sunflower seeds, hard boiled eggs, chunks of tuna, chicken strips, or tahini paste. Sometimes I eat it plain, vegetables only, with my favorite store bought dressing, Annie’s Shitake Sesame. You may add any other of your own favorite fresh salad items.

I also enjoy crunchy iceberg lettuce as a wedge salad and as an ingredient with other lettuces. If I’m not eating a wedge, I add chopped iceberg directly to my salad at the last minute, because it oxides quickly, ahead of the other ingredients. If I keep the iceberg separate, a large bowl of salad will last three days in the refrigerator without browning, especially if it contains cabbage. Salads with cabbage seem to last longer.

HOMEMADE SALAD DRESSING

It’s a good idea to sometimes make your own salad dressing. I know there are a lot of good commercial dressings available, but the purest experience is to simply mix red wine or rice vinegar with extra virgin olive oil (yes, it should be extra virgin), in a 5 to 1 ratio. Five parts oil to one part vinegar. Add your favorite seasonings like sea salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, basil, dill, etc. For enhanced flavor add several raw onion rings to soak in the dressing. Onion adds a nice flavor, and they get “pickled” over time, making them delicious additions to sandwiches and meats.

WHY YOU SHOULD USE EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL

Extra Virgin Olive Oil, which contains 75 percent of its fat in the form of oleic acid, a monounsaturated, omega-9 fatty acid, has many health benefits, especially for the cardiovascular system. One reason that Extra Virgin is better than Virgin Olive Oil or Olive Oil is the way that the oil is extracted from the olives for each of them.

When making Extra Virgin Olive Oil, the gorgeous unripe olives, fresh from the trees, are run through a mechanical press only, resulting in that lovely greenish hued liquid. Because Extra Virgin Olive Oil is oil from the first pressing it contains the most nutrients and has the delightful taste of fresh olives. No heat or chemicals are permitted in the pressing or it can’t be called Extra Virgin. It couldn’t be more natural.

The same smashed olive mash left from the first pressing is run through the press a second time and called Virgin Olive Oil. Heat and/or chemicals are used to extract more oil because it is faster and cheaper to do it that way. Virgin is not as smooth tasting as Extra Virgin. Again, this same mash left from the first two pressings is pressed a third time, and called simply Olive Oil. They use heat and/or chemicals to extract the oil, which can taste bitter, and it has less flavor compared with Extra Virgin and Virgin.

Keep in mind that the mash left from the first and second pressings, what is destined to become Virgin Olive Oil, and Olive Oil, will have a large number of free radicals in it due to the damage done to the olives in the first and second pressing. Free radicals not found in Extra Virgin.

EVOO, as Rachael Ray likes to call it, can get very pricey in most supermarkets. Trader Joe’s sells large, 33.8 fluid ounce bottles for $6.99 to $8.99, a real bargain for a quality product.

NO MATTER THE NAME OR NATURE OF AN ILLNESS, IT CAN BE CATEGORIZED WITHIN ONE OR MORE OF SEVEN SIMPLE CLASSIFICATIONS. WHAT FOLLOWS IS THE UNDERLYING PREMISE FOR ALL OF MY THEORIES ON HEALING. IF YOU CAN UNDERSTAND THIS YOU WILL NEVER HAVE TO BE SICK AGAIN.

Currently, it is estimated that there are from 12,000 to over 100,000 documented diseases, some of which affect a handful of people, like Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, a rare degenerative brain disorder that affects one person per million per year worldwide, to others that affect millions, like cancer, which kills almost eight million people annually worldwide. These diseases are separated by the medical industry into four types, pathogenic, deficiency, heredity, and physiological, but actually all diseases are deficiency based and can be treated and cured with nutrition.

Regardless of how prevalent a disease is or which type it is labeled, all diseases can fit into one or more of seven categories. Let me put that another way: there are only seven things that can go wrong with the body, not 100,000. From the outside looking in, they may appear to be 100,000 different disorders, but in fact, every single one of them can fit into these seven categories. The human body is not nearly as complicated as you have been led to believe. Just the opposite, it is a simple machine, easily maintained in peak condition with proper nutrition.

EINSTEIN’S CONSTANCY PRINCIPLE SUPPORTS THE SEVEN CATEGORY THEORY

I figured out the seven category theory by studying Albert Einstein’s theories on relativity. I often wondered how Dr. Einstein could be stuck here on Earth and still theorize correctly about our universe. How could he know for certain without being out there? He was able to do so because he made an important assumption at the start, on which he based all his subsequent theories. That assumption, which turned out to be correct, was that our universe is a “constant.” Dr. Einstein realized therefore, that if he could formulate a theory and prove that it worked here on Earth, since the universe is constant, he knew that the same proven theory would work equally well anywhere else within the same universe.

Dr. Einstein studied and theorized about the “larger outer” universe. The human body can be viewed as a “smaller inner” universe, and follows the same constancy rule relied on by him. The human body is a closed and constant system. Therefore, if I find a food supplement that works to open a blockage in a lung, like congestion, I know that same treatment will work to open a blockage anywhere within the same closed system, whether in an artery to prevent heart attacks, dementia, or erectile dysfunction, in the liver to prevent fatty deposits, in a toe to prevent gout, in the sinus cavity to prevent headaches and post nasal drip, in fact anywhere that a blockage exists within the same closed system.

THE SEVEN CATEGORIES

A healthy body is your second most precious gift after life itself, yours to nourish or neglect. The organic vessel you occupy needs a certain amount of continual care and upkeep. It isn’t an appliance you can plug in at birth and forget about. It will withstand a lot of physical abuse from its person before it succumbs to illness, disease, and premature aging, but the trip there is inevitable if it isn’t provided with enough nutrition. But that’s all it needs. With proper nutrition you can walk through life unscathed by disease.

The following are the seven things that can go wrong with your body. They can all be treated effectively with nutrition and the additional support of food supplements. You need the additional support of food supplements, because you can’t get enough nutrition from your diet to avoid all disease. But there is no disease or disorder that does not fall into one or more of these seven categories. Remember that all disease is directly attributable to your diet, and what you do and don’t eat.

CATEGORY 1: SIMPLE MALNUTRITION

This is where all disease and bodily malfunctions begin for ailments such as Type 2 diabetes and obesity, which are caused solely by malnutrition. When things first start to go wrong they often go unnoticed as resulting from simple malnutrition, because they are seemingly insignificant. Disorders like bleeding gums, constipation, and forgetfulness don’t seem serious and most people experience these health problems from time to time without giving them a second thought. They think this sort of malfunction is normal, just part of being alive. But it’s the first step toward more serious diseases.

Bleeding gums signal a worsening condition of weak blood vessel walls, due to a lack of Rutin, which could lead to a brain aneurism stroke. Chronic constipation means poor evacuation and subsequent retention of rotting matter in your colon from a lack of enough fresh food and Magnesium that could lead to cancer. Forgetfulness could signal a growing blockage from a lack of Lecithin that will end up as dementia and the premature loss of mental function. If these ailments are not treated properly and early with the correct nutrition, they will develop into one of five other categories. The seventh category is hormonal disruption that comes with aging and is not directly associated with malnutrition, but is still easily avoided with the correct food supplement.

CATEGORY 2: INFLAMMATION/INFECTION

If simple malnutrition goes untreated long enough it can develop into inflammation, which grows out of a lack of foods high in antioxidants, and a failure to supplement your diet with Beta Carotene and other antioxidant supplements. Without enough antioxidants, free radicals grow exponentially. When free radicals reach a threshold of oxidation, also known as decay, it triggers the body’s defenses, which manifest as inflammation, and present with pain, swelling, tenderness, and redness. Once inflammation is present, you are susceptible to any number of infections and inflammation based diseases, like cancer, asthma, multiple sclerosis, Crohn’s Disease, diverticulitis, and even failure to heal properly, among others. Rampant free radical growth and inflammation are also the result of radiation poisoning, which can be treated with Beta Carotene in massive doses. Both infection and inflammation stem from exponential free radical growth.

CATEGORY 3: BLOCKAGES

Untreated simple malnutrition can also result in blockages throughout your body, which form a whole subset of diseases. When you eat something your body has trouble processing, like sirloin steak with butter sauce and a fried egg on top, baked potato with bacon bits, butter and sour cream, fried broccoli with blue cheese dressing, and ice cream with whipped cream, without also taking an emulsifier, your body has trouble breaking it down.

Without an emulsifier like Lecithin, your body can’t eliminate the organic deposits which settle in your arteries and form plaque and blood clots, in your lungs to form congestion, between your joints to cause stiffness and loss of mobility, in your penis to cause erectile dysfunction, in your eyes to cause glaucoma, in your jaw to cause TMJ, as well as, many other areas throughout your body. Once again, all these disorders appear to be independent of each other but are in fact classified under the category of blockages, and they can, therefore, all be treated with the same supplement, Lecithin.

CATEGORY 4: AUTO-IMMUNE

Another large class of diseases stem from an inappropriate reaction of your immune system, which is designed to fight off pathogenic intruders. It is your defense mechanism against diseases caused by bacterium, virus, and other microorganism. It is the moat around the castle, the army at the gate to keep out the infidels. But sometimes the army gets confused and starts attacking the castle itself, its host body. An auto-immune disorder arises when the immune system sees danger in substances, organs, and tissues normally present in the body—ones it is supposed to defend.

Unfortunately, the only treatment the medical industry has for an auto-immune disease is to suppress and sometimes completely shut down the immune system. The problem with this is obvious: yes you stop the particular inappropriate reaction by putting the system to sleep, but you also disable the body’s entire defense system, making it susceptible to all sorts of other pathogenic attacks. What would happen if you gave knock out drugs to the army at the gate? All sorts of intruders would walk right past them and gain entry. That’s why so many people living with an auto-immune disease and taking prescription medicines to suppress the immune system end up in the ER, with sometimes life threatening problems unrelated to the original disease.

The list of auto-immune diseases is extensive and includes disorders as common as seasonal allergies, to type 1 diabetes, eczema, psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, Graves’ Disease, vertigo and dizziness (Meniere’s disease), lupus, and Addison’s Disease, among others. Again, despite the differing nature of these disorders, since they are all auto-immune based, they can all be treated with the same food supplements and prevented, controlled and eliminated. The idea is not to shut down or suppress the immune system but to calm it down so it stops overreacting and attacking its host. This can be done with the correct combinations of food supplements, including Bee Pollen and Monavie Active.

CATEGORY 5: VIRUS

A virus is any infecting agent that multiples inside the body, corrupting systems and causing disease, sometimes even death. The list of viral based diseases is extensive, including the flu, hepatitis, HIV/AIDS, yellow fever, mumps, shingles, rubella, chicken pox, Epstein Barr/mononucleosis, herpes—both genital and cold sores, even smallpox, among others. The mistake that the medical industry makes is to believe that each of these diseases needs a different type of treatment and drug.

We have to start thinking like the body does. A virus gets in and does damage in different ways, but they all have one thing in common. Despite their origin or behavior, a virus has to replicate repeated generations of itself, or it dies and you get better. Therefore, the key is to disrupt a virus’s DNA replication cycle. If you can do that, you will prevent it from spawning more generations…you will kill it off. But that’s all you have to do to end any virus: stop it from reproducing!

You see, a virus’ life span is too short for it to do any real harm inside your body. Therefore, it must replicate itself continually, so that the new generations can continue the bodily harassment against you. L-Lysine will disrupt the replication cycle of ANY virus. Any virus! Meaning, that whatever virus you contract, that same supplement can be used to stop it, because all you’re trying to stop is the reproduction cycle. We may distinguish between viruses but as long as you are able to stop them from breeding, it doesn’t matter to the body.

CATEGORY 6: EXCESS TOXICITY

This category occurs when your body becomes saturated with toxins, much like the soldiers who returned from Operation Desert Storm in the 1990-1991 Gulf War, with a disorder that was subsequently named, Gulf War Syndrome. The body has many cleansing mechanisms but when they become overloaded by too many toxins, the body will break down and present with a variety of illnesses. The women and men who were there faced an unrelenting barrage of toxins, mostly from the burning oil fields. Their lungs, livers and other organs were inundated with toxins they could not process or eliminate.

We all have trash and garbage cans in our homes. When they are full up they just won’t hold any more. Left unattended, rot sets in and the stink is profound. The body is the same: when its trash carriers are full and aren’t cleaned out, disease results.

Those of us who are fortunate enough not to have to go to war, thanks to a strong and dedicated military, still face toxin overload in our daily civilian lives. If you smoke cigarettes, live near a factory, live in a large city with a lot of motor vehicle traffic, your body becomes tainted with innumerable toxins. The United States makes an effort to control air pollution, but there are some countries (you know who they are), where it is a minor concern, and their citizens suffer accordingly. The correct food supplements like a combination of L-Cysteine and Vitamin C Complex with other nutritional support can clean out the overloaded body and return it to normalcy.

CATEGORY 7: HORMONAL DISRUPTION

Regardless of how well you treat your body, a time will come as you age, when your hormonal production breaks down. Think of it as having spent your life on an aircraft kept on automatic pilot. Suddenly, one day you notice that the ground is getting a little closer each day. That’s because the autopilot is failing. For your entire life, your hormonal autopilot has been distributing the necessary hormones throughout your body. Then it slows down and gets confused and sends out the wrong combinations, or not enough. It’s the same for men and women.

Women go through menopause, experiencing mood swings, bone loss, hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, a loss of sex drive, dry aging skin and age spots, lack of energy, and perhaps the most psychologically painful—the barrel-waist look that no amount of dieting can get rid of, among other problems.

Men have it just as bad, and experience impotence, low testosterone, lack of sex drive, difficulty passing urine, mood swings, depression, reduced muscular strength, hair loss, bone loss, panic, low sperm count, incontinence, dry aging skin and age spots, and a drooping stomach hanging over the belt, among other things.

The medical industry tried to replace the natural hormone loss in women by giving them hormone replacement therapy. But there were reports of all sorts of problems, including increased incidence of cancer. That’s because the system that produces hormones in both male and female bodies is much too complex to be regulated from the outside.

You can’t use hormone replacement to properly regulate the correct amount of hormones needed by an individual, but you can take a food supplement that signals your body to continue making hormones on its own, in whatever amounts it thinks it needs. The best food supplement I have found for both men and women is DHEA/Youthful You. Depending on whether it’s taken by a man or a woman, it signals the body to continue making the appropriate amount of hormones.

THE CATEGORIES WILL OFTEN OVERLAP

Sometimes, when simple malnutrition goes untreated it worsens and morphs into more than one of the seven categories. Therefore, some diseases will be listed in more than one category, like rheumatoid arthritis, which is listed under auto-immune because that is the trigger, inflammation, which is the body’s response to the trigger, and blockages because it causes organic debris to accumulate in the joints, robbing you of mobility and freedom of movement. You could use Monavie Active alone to control RA, or if you cannot afford the expense, you could use Bee Pollen to calm down the immune system, Beta Carotene to quell the inflammation, Lecithin to break up and prevent the blockages in the joints, and iron and B12 to avoid the debilitating fatigue.

Likewise with asthma, which is listed under inflammation because it is a chronic inflammation of the lungs, and blockages because of the mucus and excess toxins that form in your lungs. You could use Beta Carotene to stop the chronic inflammation, Lecithin to break up the hardened mucus in your lungs, and L-Cysteine and Vitamin C together to remove excess toxins and ease your breathing.

CONCLUSION: YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE SICK

You have been so misled for so long that I know it’s hard to believe that there are only seven things that go wrong with the body, and that they are all capable of being controlled, cured and prevented with simple, inexpensive food supplements, but I promise you that this is true. Staying healthy is easy and relatively cheap. It boggles the mind to watch the numbers being spent, as we throw billions of dollars at diseases like cancer, which can be completely cured with just Beta Carotene and Vitamin D3 taken in sufficient doses.

I know it’s hard to believe, but you have to take over control of your health now, because the medical industry doesn’t know what it’s doing and has failed you miserably. It’s not the diseases, but the ignorance that kills so many people. I read the other online sites and see the same phrases used over and over, indicating that they don’t know what causes diseases. I know what causes every disease and I know how to actually cure and prevent them by using nutrition and food supplements. Never forget that your body was constructed in the womb from the nutrition consumed by your mother. No nutrition, no you. Doesn’t it make perfect sense then that if nutrition was used to build your body, nutrition should also be used to repair it?
