1. If you’re treating more than one condition with the same supplement, but the recommended dosages differ, you should follow the larger dose recommendation. The presumption being that the larger dose is aimed at a more serious condition, which will not get better if you take the smaller of the conflicting dosage recommendations. But the lesser disorder will be treated properly as well by the larger dose. So, always select the larger dose if there is a conflict regarding instructions for separate disorders.
2. If you experience gas or lower abdominal pain after taking any supplement, try taking your supplements with some food, or at least with a liquid with some substance to it like tomato juice, orange juice, or milk. Never take supplements with water alone unless you have just finished a meal.
If this doesn’t work to stop any gas and subsequent abdominal pain, then you should start using Activated Charcoal Capsules, and take 1-3 at the same time as the vitamins. It will absorb the gas created as the supplements move through your digestive system. If 1-3 isn’t enough, take as much as you need to get relief. If you have reason to believe that the gas may be caused by indigestion, take 1-2 tablets of 400 mg strength Betaine Hydrochloride at the same time that you take the supplements. BH is just stomach acid in supplement form and will aid your digestion.
3. I’m getting a lot of questions that lead me to believe that people are jumping to the Quick Glance Chart and not reading the entire blog. Hence the questions that I have already answered in the blog itself. The Quick Glance Chart is there so you never have to reread the entire blog when you need to check the information again. But it’s important that you read the entire blog through just once. If you are careful and follow the instructions in the blog you are guaranteed to get relief from your individual health problems. But to do that you have to start with all the correct information.
4. If you take my recommended dosage level and find that your condition has improved but not disappeared while you’re taking the supplements, increase either the dosage or the number of times a day that you take them. Keep doing this slowly over time until the symptoms are completely gone. Stop thinking that it’s okay if your health problem just doesn’t get worse, or improves just slightly. Demand more. Raise the bar on your health expectations. Getting it better is good, but getting it gone is better.
Hi Lynn,
I have just discovered your website – I cannot truly express to you what this means to me as I have been on a quest to find the answer to my bad breath issue that has plagued me for years. I have been called delusional/paranoid by family, friends and foes – however not a day would go by that I did not hear about my issue – the same people who would say to my face that my breath does not smell would turn away and talk about how my breath smells as if though I was invisible and did not hear them. In spite of the ridicule, rejection, embarrassment I dealt with on a daily I refused to stop living life – I still was able to be successful on my job and finished a Bachelor’s program with a 3.8 GPA. I always felt that it was going to take a combination of things to work in harmony to combat this issue but in all my researching I never came across a comprehensive regiment until now. I cannot tell you the extent of this journey i.e. talking with my primary care physician, dentist, oral surgeon, ENT, CT scans (you name I’ve just about done it)not to mention the amount of
monies I have spent on products. I have one question if I may – can the supplements for halitosis and hair loss be taken at the same?
Sincerely,
Wanda
Hi Wanda,
I’m sorry to hear that you’ve had such a hard time combating halitosis. People can be stupidly cruel without realizing it. Yes you can take the supplements for both disorders at the same time. Supplements are just concentratec nutrition sources; there are no negative interactions.
Please let me know if things improve. Thanks for writing, Lynn.
Happy to become one of several customers for this wonder inspiring site.
Thank you. Glad you like it!

Hello! Do you recommend a non soy lecithin? I am looking to try your asthma protocol for other lung issues I have but because of the phyto estrogen of soy I can not eat or use soy products. Thank you!
Hi Carlly,
I recommend soya lecithin as the best for cleaning out the congestion that accompanies asthma. Some people don’t want to use soy so they tell me that sunflower lecithin works as well. I can assure you that the treatment with soy works very effectively. Can you tell me why you don’t want to use soy?
Thanks for writing, Lynn
Hi Lynn,
Thank you SO much for replying to me. I don’t use soy because of the phyto estrogen effects. I have a weird auto immune issue where estrogen effects my lungs. I don’t have asthma really but I do have many of the symptoms and things related to asthma. However, I’ve been told that certain types are bad- tofu, soybeans (edemame), etc.
Any thoughts? My condition is LAM.
Thank you regardless. I joke, I’m just a FON. Freak Of Nature. 🙂
Hi Carly,
With LAM lung disease, blood vessels and muscle cells that line the lungs begin to multiply abnormally, spreading into areas of the lung where they shouldn’t be, and thereby robbing space for air to move normally. This causes inflammation, which presents as swelling as the body tries to cool the heat, and this also takes up space you need for air. Anytime you see the body overreacting, speeding up growth of cells, it usually means an auto-immune problem, as you suggest.
But that’s all it is. If I were to advise you, I would say work on treating the immune system specifically to stop it overreacting to otherwise normal triggers in your environment. Heal the immune system, which is not that hard to do, and everything associated with this disorder will fix itself. Once you get the immune system in shape you will no longer have to worry about the tiny amounts of soy you get in supplements. I have an incredibly sensitive system, yet I am not allergic to a single food because my immune system is under control.
If you would like to continue this conversation and get a more in depth consultation, please follow the instructions at the top of my blog page for a private consultation. Otherwise, you can read the blog under allergies, which is essentially all that you have in LAM.
We’re all freaks of nature. 🙂
Thanks for writing, Lynn.
Hi. So far I’ve loved reading your blog…I’m sure it gives a lot of people hope and an option other than conventional medicine…I’ve just ordered Lecithin for ED that has probably manifested from years of prostate problems..I ordered the granules, which I think you said were more potent…I’d like to take as much as I can but Don’t want to get sick at my stomach either..Do I eat before?…Mix it with orange juice…tomato juice or what ever…I think I will try to find some Beta Carotene in bulk. I think you mentioned that for the enlarged prostate…Hope it works… I’ll keep you informed…Pete
Hi there,
I’ve never had anyone complain about digestion problems from using Lecithin granules. They will clean out all of your arteries, your joints, your lungs, your veins, your sinus, etc. If you’re badly clogged all over, sometimes the waste hits your bloodstream all at once and causes nausea, headaches, and boils. But that has been two people in 30 years. Usually, there is no problem. Granules don’t mix well with just juice…will not dissolve. You can use them in blender drinks with fruit. Or sprinkle them on cold cereal. Or sprinkle over fresh fruit. They are tasteless. And they work wonders.
It is always good to take Beta Carotene. But prostate enlargement is caused by hyperplasia, the creation of too many cells in that area. Your body sees that as a blockage, and will use Lecithin to decrease the number of cells. Usually, when the body is making too many cells it also means the immune system is disturbed by something. Try Royal Jelly in softgel form, 500 mg, and take one or more, twice daily to calm it down.
Thanks for writing. I am so glad that you like the blog. It’s currently read in 137 couontries!!

Will excess dosage of any of the supplements cause liver or kidney damage in someone whose organs are already compromised? Thank you.
Hi Lois,
Yes, if your liver or kidney has already been compromised then you have to be careful of what supplements you take and how much.
I no longer give free consults. If you are interested in proceeding please follow this link for an explanation: https://lynncapehartwellness.com/policy-change-on-free-consults/
If you will tell me what damage your organs have suffered, and what supplements you are thinking of taking, and which disorder you are working on, I can give you safe, detailed info so that you can still use the supplements without harming yourself. In fact, perhaps we can get your liver and kidney to have improved function.
Lynn
Thank you for this blog, it’s very helpful to me.
You’re welcome. I’m glad it’s helping you.
