Involuntary muscle movements are all underlying malfunctions of the nervous system, usually caused by injury, but more often from serious nutritional deficiencies.
The nervous system includes the brain, spinal cord, and a complex network of nerves. It sends message back and forth between the brain and body.
It controls many aspects of what you think, feel, and what your body does, such as walk, speak, swallow, breathe, and learn. It is also responsible for involuntary movement.
Major functions of the nervous system include:
• Receiving and perceiving sensory information like touch, pressure, temperature, pain, and vibration.
• Receiving and perceiving sensations like taste, smell, vision, and sound.
• Integrating that sensory information, processing it, and generating an appropriate response.
The nervous system is highly integrated and has three overlapping functions based on sensory input, integration, and motor output, since it controls communication throughout your body.
The nervous system is your body’s command center. It works by sending messages as electrical signals between your brain and all other part of your body. These signals tell you to breathe, move, speak, and see. Without nerve cells you wouldn’t be able to feel anything through touch or know when someone is touching you.
A nerve injury or nutritional deficiency can affect the brain’s ability to communicate with muscles and organs, a malfunction that may lead to involuntary muscle movement that triggers a reaction you do not want.
Involuntary movements have several causes:
• Side effects of many pharmaceutical medications
• Parkinson’s
• Ataxia
• Tic Disorder
• Essential Tremor
• Infection or Injury To The Brain
• Stroke
• Toxins, and more.
Most involuntary movements can be lessened, and usually completely eliminated, by nutrition that treats the deficiency causing your nervous system to malfunction.
